The IGD Warsaw Tower design studied the intricate nature of Prototype Design in regards to modulation and repetition. The development comprised stylish and sophisticated residential units as well as a luxury health club and restaurants. The typical units and exterior wall concepts were based on an intricate and extensive analysis of scalar ornament and texture. Through these studies a matrix of unit modulation was established intent on creating a dynamic and flexible ordering system. This system, in concert with an integrated structural and mechanical concept of stackable cores created the opportunity to hand and mirror units. The interlocking of different modules and the morphing of a simple stacked unit expression creates a vibrant, staccato-effect within the established exterior wall system.
